Demystifying the Coccyx: Gentle, Effective Treatment
A Science-Informed Approach
Coccyx pain is a common, frustrating, and debilitating condition, as very few healthcare providers are skilled in evaluation and effective treatment. This course presents theory, function, anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, symptoms, etiology, pathology, radiology, and traditional medical and allied health interventions, including injections and surgical interventions. The clinician will gain diagnostic skills in evaluating and hands-on treatment for mechanical and neuropathic pain within a holistic team approach paradigm. The clinician will become skilled in patient education. The course consists of a well-referenced, thorough handout with multiple lucid images. The handout has live links to video and PowerPoint presentations.
