Physical Therapy Workshops:
Hesch Institute Manual Therapy Courses & Classes
In addition to treating clients plagued by acute and chronic pain, the goal of the Hesch Institute is to share the Hesch Method with orthopedic manual physical therapist and other hands-on licensed clinicians. A Hesch Institute Workshop is a fantastic learning environment for those interested in recognizing sequential patterns of movement dysfunction throughout the body, as opposed to singular isolated dysfunctions. Examples of Hesch Institute physical therapy seminars are Thoracic Spine & Rib Cage Mobilization & Manipulation and The Hesch Institute Whole Body Course. Jerry Hesch, MHS, PT has conducted workshops in facilities all over the country including Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, Carrington College, and Alabama Spine & Rehab. So whether you are a clinician wishing to attend a Hesch Institute seminar or a facility coordinator interested in hosting one, please contact us at email@example.com.
The Hesch Method SI Course
SIJD is fraught with confusion and misunderstanding. Yet 25-30% of the back pain population is reported to have a component of SIJD. Evaluation and treatment needs to evolve with the science and research.
The Hesch Method, a unique subset of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, presents a new approach to evaluation and treatment, in which spring tests are enhanced to a kinesthetic skill known as “Springing with AwarenessTM”. The practitioner can thoroughly assess the Lumbopelvic structure in all planes of the body, thus demystifying complex pathomechanics.
A viscoelastic creep and reflexogenic model of treatment can restore normative function regarding mobility and stability, allowing rapid achievement of treatment objectives. Clinicians consistently report confidence in the clinical application of this approach.
