Lumbopelvic Pathomechanics"

The Jerry Hesch method is an innovative approach that makes it possible to understand the complex pelvic and SI area with clinically very effective research and treatment techniques!
SI and pelvis dysfunctions still cause confusion and confusion in our profession. According to the research, 25-30% of the low back pain population has to do with an SI dysfunction component. Evaluation and treatment of this should evolve with the latest insights from the research!
This new approach has been developed for more precise evaluation and treatment, with jumping tests improved to a kinesthetic skill; '' Springing with awareness ™ ''. With this, the therapist can carry out a thorough investigation of lumbar and pelvic structures in all (joint) planes and directions and can therefore accurately unravel the complex pathomechanics in this area.
A visco-elastic creep and reflexogenic treatment model can then quickly restore normal joint functions such as mobility and stability, so that treatment goals can be achieved quickly!
Because of this approach, both simple and complex pelvic and SI dysfunctions can usually be solved in 1 to 3 treatments. After this, the therapist can of course improve additional matters such as strength, stability training and other issues. No use is made of large leverage techniques or grade 5 manipulations.
The application of this method is clinically proven effective and ensures positive patient outcomes in case of low back, pelvis and SI problems! Several independent studies and a research thesis demonstrate that short-term Hesch treatment results in significant pain reduction and increased SLR. Several studies in this field have shown that the inter-tester reliability of palpation and walking tests are moderate, while the Hesch method showed absolutely better results.
Accreditation KNGF: in application for general practitioner and manual therapy
This course is suitable for (sports) physiotherapists, manual therapists, chiropractors
