What is
the Hesch Method?

Hesch Method is a form of Manual Therapy. That is, hands-on manipulation of joints and other body structures. Hesch Method is unique in that it is BRIEF treatment: Even complex patterns of neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction can be pinpointed promptly and corrected within an average of three visits. Many dysfunctions are not recurrent after initial treatment. With recurrent dysfunction, patient independence is achieved by teaching simple self-corrections. Hesch Method is a form of Physical Therapy but is within the scope of practice of many health care practitioners  who use hands-on care, such as Chiropractors and Doctors of Osteopathy.

Hesch Institute Goals

To continue to disseminate Hesch Method skills and awareness within the health care community,  through such means as training courses, supervised clinical training,  publications, lectures, and demonstration events.

To make Hesch Method assessment and treatment techniques accessible to patients around the world.

To continue to carry out and publish research, identifying Hesch Method as an Evidence Based modality of care.

To continue to develop the Hesch Method  body of work, as well as develop novel products which will enhance patient care and research.

To alleviate pain and suffering in patients with  neuromusculoskeletal injuries, through the provision of excellent clinical care.
